The establishment of standards and assurances will enable the technological benefits of construction 3d printing to be truly viable and successful in implementation globally.
This ISO standard which supports Construction 3D printing is available for public comment till 13th December 2022.
3D Construction Printing is rapidly being adopted globally, and with the growing industry providing many benefits for various sectors utilizing this innovative solution, the standards of construction 3d printing are more important than ever to be established.
We are delighted at LUYTEN to be the Australian representative for the official Joint Group (JG80) under ISO / TC 261 – ASTM F42 (WG2). We are part of the central global organisations and total 35 members, extended over 7 time zones Kudos to Stephan Mansour for chairing the meetings. Special Thank You to committee members who helped make this happen and put up with my constant requests!Our committee is establishing international standards and quality requirements necessary for production and delivery of high quality additively manufactured structures (residential or infrastructure) in the construction sector.

After a year and a half of long hours and bi-weekly meetings ISO/ASTM 52939 is finally available to the public. This is a major step for #construction and recognizing #additiveconstruction as a common tool in the sector.
